Why get separated?
Have I asked myself this question? Yes of course I have. And now I am asking; Why get divorced? It is not a rhetorical question. These are important questions to ask ourselves, remind ourselves and be living a mindful life. I am very conscious that my married life was one of failed expectations. My expectations were not met. What were my expectations? This is why we ask the questions: why get separated? I know why I am separated. When we parent alone, when we are separated or divorced, it can be lonely, isolated, often hopeless at times. This is a key time to remember why am I separated? This catapults the reminder list of gratitude’s, the list of what I am thankful for parenting alone. Parenting alone takes work, not just logistically but it is a complete mindset shift (upcoming blog). My next step though is why get divorced? (next blog)
